RoRo vs. Container: What’s Best?

RoRo

Fast port handling; vehicle remains intact
Great for running cars, trucks, buses, machines
Not suitable for loose parts/personal effects inside vehicles

Container

Pack multiple cars or mixed cargo together
Extra protection, sealed unit
More handling and terminal fees vs. RoRo

S. West → Asia: ~15–30 days
S. East/Gulf → East/Southern Africa: ~28–50 days

Prohibited/Restricted Items (Examples)

Firearms/ammunition without permits

Personal effects inside RoRo vehicles (most carriers disallow)
